34weeks
Oh my time really does fly. I'm entering my 34th week tomorrow so I have like 6 freaking weeks to go! It feels surreal. But I'm excited nevertheless. Baby stuff is 100pc completed but I still have one or two things to buy for myself which are nursing bras n another pack of maternity pads. insyaAllah will try to complete by this week or plg lmbt nxt week. N yes bby pls don't come out just YET! Hubby has been pestering me to start packing up for hospital but I insist to wait first. Not until our next check up as I need to make sure of my final condition. Just FYI, I've been diagnosed with having partial placenta previa and hence I need to know whether or not it has moved up otherwise I need to go under the knife. I pray to Allah to make it easy for me. Of course I would want to have an easy breezy normal delivery but I certainly have no power in denying Allah's will. Allah knows what's best for the both of us. InsyaAllah.
On the other hand, my lil one inside is seriously one active baby. I'm glad to know that it moves and kicks a lot! My hubby once said that he wondered when does the baby sleep as it is moving constantly in my tummy. Hehe. Though it hurts sometimes but mommy is enjoying every minute of it darling. and as of me, I've been ballooning up like crazy. I wonder how I get so big despite my still unnoticeable tummy at my 5th month. hehe. the third trimester is a bit challenging for me I guess as I get bigger hence the slow movements and of course VERY frequent trips to the loo. I now find it hard to sleep at night especially in finding the right, comfortable position. As much as I try to lie on my left side ( this helps the blood to flow smoothly; according to my reading) but I end up waking up on my back, still. And that actually causes the back pain. However I still think mine is bearable. Alhamdulillah. and if you were to ask my husband what is the most significant trait that I have developed recently---- clumsiness! Omg that is like so bad I think. Everytime I eat or drink something, I would spill a bit of it in my tudung or baju. Haha. And whenever I hold something, I would accidentally drop it on the floor. I really hate the latter because when I drop things I need to bend down to take those things. Urghh like bencinyaa nk Kene tunduk. Hehehe
Okay gtg. Maghrib prayer time! Later...

Laundry-ing
This is the first batch. I guess there will be few more batches following soon. I have to segregate the process due to limited space in our "kecik" rented apartment. So excited doing this. Indescribable feelings! Syukur ya Allah.

My first trimester
My second pregnancy
Here I am jotting down something regarding my second pregnancy. Remember I lost my first at 8 weeks in January 2013. Though it was devastated but I know there is always a blessing in disguise for everything that has happened. Furthermore at that time we were so occupied with packing up stuff and preparing for our move to Jakarta. And I just cannot imagine coping with nausea while packing up my super banyak stuff. Allah knows better I believe. So back to the sort, I officially arrived Jakarta middle of March where that was the second cycle period of mine came after I miscarried. according to my gynae, I should have waited at least one cycle before trying to conceive again. There I was thinking this would be a great chance to try again. Who knows this is the rizq of Jakarta baby ( we were secretly hoping for this, of course). So, my new life went on as usual. My daily routine goes -bangun tido- breakfast- watching tv- lunch- watching tv- husband is back- dinner- watching tv- bedtime. Oh and of course prayers in between. April came, it was my birthday month, and seriously I was hoping for miracle to happen that month. Few days before my menses is due, I secretly went to Guardian to buy the UPT testkit and tested. It was negative of course. but I just did not know why I was just feeling it. I just felt that I had it inside. one of the similar things occurred to me with previous pregnancy was that I had this, when I peed, I felt incomplete mcm something yg x puas mcm tu la. so I thought maybe this is the sign. On 4th of April, a day before my actual due date. I tested again. Peed and waited. Checked. VERY Faint line appeared. Subhanallah. Beyond words. Whatsapped the pic to my hubby and asked if he could see anything because being very faint I somehow thought it could be my imagination because of wanting it so bad I could be seeing things right. he said " mcm ade faint line". Yes! That's good news but if course I was not in hurry to jump into conclusion. Anxious and could not wait to retest after a few days. Three days later, 7th of April to be precise, and it was Sunday, I did the test again and Alhamdulillah it was a bright line this time around, I am pregnant and most importantly I was due for my birthday celebration in a week time and I told my husband that Allah has given me my early birthday present- I am pregnant on my 29th birthday! Alhamdulillah syukur ya Allah. Below are the pics of the stick. Above was taken on 4th April while the other one was on 7th of April.

Babymoon!
Alhamdulillah thank you to Allah for the rizq and thanks to hubby for granting my wish to have a mini babymoon for the both of us. Since I didn't fancy traveling on a plane at this stage of pregnancy, we decided to go somewhere nice but near to us. I guess Mandarin Oriental Jakarta was without doubt a perfect choice for us. We loved everything there! We booked a superior room that was so huge- we were surprised by the size of the of room. ( see pic below) We opted for Urban Escape package that comes with several privileges including breakfast for two pax, transfer to Grand Indonesia/ PlazaIndonesia(unlimited), free Internet, one hour massage for one ( I asked husband to hv this), and USD 25 credit for F&B. I must say that we had a wonderful stay there. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was good and definitely we enjoyed the shopping trip to GI as well! Definitely we would live to come back! ( with the baby of course, InsyaAllah)

Day 21
Came across this ayatollah yesterday. Somehow I felt something while reading its meaning. To me, it shows how Allah loves his ummat and please never for a second have a suspicious thought about his doings. Janji Allah itu pasti. Just b patient. He knows what's best for us. Just be patient and keep praying for good things to happen. Amin YRA.

Ramadhan Kareem
Alhamdulillah syukur to Allah that we have reached 11th day of Ramadhan. How time flies. It was on the second day of Ramadhan where I thought it's a long way to go and we have more or less 27/28 days to go to complete the holy month. But now, we are in the second phase already. And guess what I'm enjoying and loving every second of it. Being a stay at home wife seriously allows me to spend a lot of time focusing on ibadah. After all, we know that Ramadhan is all about us "collecting" as much pahala as we can bcos we know how the rewards are. Everything is like doubled so why must we waste the chances that we have. As usual, my aim for this year is to khatam Quran and I guess I'm doing good. Halfway thru already. Alhamdulillah. Other good thing that I treasure most this time around is the fact that I have got to cook for Iftar. Double yay! Although there were times where the tak cukup garam moments occurred but my hubby was totally fine with it. He said that it's just my taste buds and everything was just fine. ( baek punye jage ati kannn) hehe. I've been cooking different menus everyday and being away from home this requires me to be über creative in selecting the menus. I've been trying lotsa things as well since its difficult to get those here. I guess that is one of the perks of being away from home.-- sharpening my cooking skills. Hehe. insyaAllah. Before I end, happy fasting to everyone and do make use of Ramadhan wisely. Take care!

I miss Malaysian food
Yes. Like REALLY. I have been in Jakarta for a month and half now and I guess I am missing Malaysian food so much! And it does not help at all when my Instagram is flooded with foodie pictures. :(((( They are so mean and once I had once thought that I should delete the app for the fear of I will go crazy thinking and imagining about how good the food tastes and bla bla bla. I am not a fussy eater and I seriously can eat Indonesian food but I guess its the gene in me. and right now, I am thinking of Nasi Ulam Cikgu back in KB. I can eat this everyday. Oh my, it is really good. I cant wait to go back to KL this June and to indulge myself with the long list of food. :)))
P/S: I shall start listing down all the food now and plan our itinerary ASAP. :P

Dinner at Penang Bistro
I ve been delaying my hutang to Allah for quite some times. Therefore, yesterday, I finally decided that I should not let it b postponed anymore. Though did not wake up for sahur as I did not get enough sleep that night (to be told later) but I forced myself to still fast yesterday.
oh btw our packages are STILL not here and therefore we have to dine out, like almost everyday. Sigh. DH is starting to get pissed off with this thing. Yours truly on the other hand is pretending to be cool n calm as I don't want to put the pressure on him. screw that off.
So for break fast, my husband came home for Isyak and off we went to Oakwood to hv our dinner at Penang Bistro. This is definitely a posh place to dine in and I really love the ambience. There were many people in there and we took out own sweet time waiting for our order since I have eaten kurma+bread+choc drink to break my fast. we orderedfried garoupa cooked in special nyonya sauce, oyster omelette something (can't rmmbr) and chicken kailan.
The verdict-----it was real good!! And I think we should not hv ordered the onelette anymore as the fish portion was really BIG and it was priced for good IDR 225 000 ( 70.00 ++ RM)
Damage done was IDR 400 000 over.

The crib
Research and surveys done. Finally my DH n I have decided to stay at Bellagio Residence, Mega Kuningan. One important reason why we have chosen this place is because of the distance to DH's office in which it only takes 5 mins walk from home. That makes DH a very happy employee, no doubt. Yours truly on the other hand has fallen in love with this place upon knowing there are sufficient amenities around. Shops are nearby. There is a shop called FoodHall for me to do grocery shopping (emergencies only. the prices are on the pricey side), Baskin-Robbins, Dominos, Burger King, Indian restaurant, Dapur Sunda, small bakery, there is a clinic, and Guardian, CIMB Niaga, HSBC, and others. That is definitely sufficient and I really hope we can have a good life here. InsyaAllah.

Hari Raya Nyepi
Today is a public holiday here in Jakarta as they are celebrating Hari Raya Nyepi. To me, when first heard about the celebration, I can relate it with something "senyap" or isolation in general. I google-d for the description and here's what I have found.
Taken from this
Nyepi (from the word Sepi = silence) is a day reserved for self-reflection and as such, anything that might interfere with that purpose is restricted. The main restrictions are: no lighting fires (and lights must be kept low) no working; no entertainment or pleasure; no traveling; and for some, no talking or eating at all. The effect of these prohibitions is that Balis usually bustling streets and roads are empty, there is little or no noise from TVs and radios, and few signs of activity are seen even inside homes. The only people to be seen outdoors are the Pecalang, traditional security men who patrol the streets to ensure the prohibitions are being followed. Although Nyepi is primarily a Hindu holiday, non-Hindu residents of Bali observe the day of silence as well, out of respect for their fellow citizens. Tourists are not exempt; although free to do as they wish inside the hotels, no one is allowed onto the beaches or streets or to go on tours, and the only airport in Bali remains closed for the entire day. The only exceptions granted are for emergency vehicles carrying those with life-threatening conditions and women about to give birth. On the day after Nyepi, known as Ngembak Geni, social activity picks up again quickly, as families and friends gather to ask forgiveness from one another, and to perform certain religious rituals together.
My DH told me that in Bali, they even have the flight operation stopped due to this celebration. But here in Jakarta, I could not see any difference yet except for less cars on the road. And now we r at Kota Casablanca having our breakfast at Killiney Kopitiam and our next pit stop is Ace Hardware as we are scouting for more hangers. hehe. And we r thinking of hunting for Nasi Padang for today. so far, I haven't started cooking yet as we r still waiting for our shipments to arrive soon. InsyaAllah.
Pics of Kota Casablanca. Am in love. Shopaholics will love shopping malls right.

Though, it still feels surreal to finally be a homemaker, leaving the country, family and friends back in Malaysia. I pray to Allah to bless us with a good life here insyaAllah.
