My first trimester

Alhamdulillah ya Allah for giving me the chance to really experience the joy and happiness of being pregnant. It was seriously unexpected even though we were really hoping and wishing for it to be true. Alhamdulillah Allah Maha Kuasa. My journey of becoming a mother has been tested as early as the 6th week. The episodes of vomitting, nauseous and headaches did only stop when I reached my 5th month of pregnancy. Nevertheless I did not have the urge to complain whatsoever as I am now full time housewife so I just enjoyed my rest at home without having to worry about other things. I vomited almost everyday especially when it came to brushing teeth. Average daily I vomited twice or thrice. I could not tolerate some food like nasi padang and nasi ayam penyet. Milk and dairy products are a definite NO. I did not have the strength to cook at all. Sorry husband. most of the times husband called for delivery. FYI it is easy here as all the restaurants offer for delivery services and not only restricted to fast food chains. other than that, I had ginger biscuits and choc chip cookies from marks n spencer, lemon biscuits from Julie's with a cup of Horlicks/ oat drinks. Although I did not really have the appetite to eat, but I kept ( my husband too) reminding myself to eat for the sake of the little one which is growing in my womb. Other than food intolerance, one thing weird occurred to me is my allergy towards something wangi including my husband's body spray, perfume, air fresheners and also detergents! How terrible is that? I used to be someone yg very sangat suka all those wangi2 things but I ended up covering my nose while hugging my hubby before he went to work and also when bibik came to clean up our place. Apart from that, I guess I was doing just fine. The experience was indeed memorable and thank you Allah things are back to normal now. Alhamdulillah I managed to pass the first trimester and we celebrated it by going back to KL. yeay for that!
