Perth.. it was

Hello there. I am still on MC (yes, got 2 weeks MC due to miscarriage) but I am positive that I am going to the office tomorrow. Some pending job to be completed. Plus, the new semester has just begun so I might as well go and say "Hi" to the new students of mine. Yeah we don't do much in the first week. :))

After 5 days of resting, I would say that I feel so much better. Alhamdulillah for that. and emotion wise, I guess I am a-okay now. I cannot deny the fact that I tend to be over sensitive looking at pregnancy-related posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram but I am convinced that Allah has a better plan for me. I believe in Him. InsyaAllah. May Allah grant me with the courage and strength to endure this phase.

Anyway, looking at the title of the post, I guess you guys can guess what this post is gonna be about. he he. Yes, we went to Perth last November. It was an impromptu getaway as we bought the tickets less than a month prior to the departure and started planning things in that remaining time. Man, we did not do a mistake by choosing Perth as our destination as we totally enjoyed the moments there. Everything was what I've imagined except for it is not really a destination for shopaholic like me. ;p But, they do have shopping complexes but most of them carry local Australian brands.

We boarded the flight on Thursday 8 November 2012, 1150 local time via AirAsiaX: Everyone Can Fly. Safely arrived at around 6 plus local time. FYI, there is no time difference between Perth and Msia so no calculation needed here. Upon arrival, we had our subuh prayer first before settling our car rental arrangement. Rented a Toyota corolla hatchback for 2 days. The rest of the trip, we were on public transportation. We r adventurous like that. Hehe
On the first day, we went to buy food for breakfast at Danish Patisserie before continuing the journey to Caversham Wildlife Park. Spent good 2-3 hours there and then headed to Margaret River Chocolate Factory to feast our eyes. Did not buy anything there. Our next destination was Sullivan's Hotel, our choice of hotel for the entire stay. Checked in and zoomed to the bed. Freaking tired.
The second day was our most awaited events! Husband drove for 2 hrs to go to Nambung National Park, where Pinnacles Desert is. Subhanallah. The view is simply breathtaking equipped with the cold wind. Purfect!! Took lotsa pics there before going to the Lancelin sand dunes. We did not really enjoy the sand dunes as our sand boards were not working properly. Poor us. But never mind we did not want it to spoil our mood thus we decided to leave the place, returned the board and drove to one shopping complex on our way to the hotel. At night, we had dinner at the famous Cicerellos Best Fish n Chips in town. It was really good I tell u. Worth every penny. Totally enjoyed the food there and the crowd was bearable as well at night as compared to the daytime.
The third day there, we started our day very early as we had planned to go to Kings Park. It was only walking distance from our hotel. We really live the views there. So beautiful and so clean. It was nothing like what we have in our country. After we were done visiting Kings Park, we returned our rented car to the nearby axis office. Boarded the train to Fremantle afterwards. We were at Fremantle for the souvenirs!! I love shopping for souvenirs :))) yes, managed to buy stuff for family n friends. Later, we agreed to have lunch at Kaili's. Oh my! So many people were there during lunch time. Had to wait for some times looking for vacant seats. Thank God managed to secure the place to hv our lunch. We could see many Malaysians were there as well. Or could it be Indonesians? Yeah could be. We did not really enjoy our food as it felt suffocated there. Too many people and some were loitering around looking for the empty seats. Terrible. so inconvenient as compared to the previous night. Again we back off from the place. Quickly finished the food n left. Went walking ard Fremantle specifically the beach there. it was so windy n cold. Could not really stand the cold weather as I was not feeling well. U tell me, how could someone be sick during the vacation. Oh my. It was me. Poor me. Had cold n fever 2 days before our departure. :(((
the fourth day, we went to Rottnest Island. It is one of the reserved islands where no vehicles are allowed in the island. The main modes of transportation on the island are bikes and shuttles. So u can ride a bike or u can opt to ride the shuttle. seriously we really enjoyed our time there. We rode the bikes for almost 10 km or more. there were moments where we had to walk our bikes up n down the road.
The itinerary for the final day was to stroll around the Perth city and our first destination was the Harbour Town. It is a factory outlet selling most of the Australian brand products. I had nothing specific to be bought but we spent time looking for SIL's handbag and wallet for her wedding. Found them at Kate Hill's outlet. Went to cotton on and husband bought t shirts for his siblings and my brother. I, on the other hand managed to grab a mint sling at Kate Hill. Yippee Yeay! Hehe. Me n shopping are inseparable. Before we left the place, we had so called brunch at one kebab restaurant there. So far I think I have enjoyed kebabs sold at other places than Malaysia. I don't know why. Maybe because of the generous portion of veges and the beef I guess. Hehe. I can eat kebab all day long!! After Harbour Town, off we went to Hay St.actually I've been searching high n low for the Moogoo's eczema cream for my friends. They said the cream is good. Thank God I managed to get them at the drugstore at Hay Street. And then jalan2 a bit more, got tired and rode the bus to our hotel. Stopped by to have the famous churros. Too me it was so so. Am not a fan. Hehe. Too much exaggeration from blogs. Hihi. Our last destination of the day was the Bell Tower. It was I who insisted to go there to at least snap pics as proof that we ve been to Perth. Chewah. all in all, we really enjoyed our days there. Most of our evenings there were spent looking for food as the shops there close really early which is at 5pm. Nights were spent resting and uploading pics on IG. Hehe.

Dear little darling

You came unexpected
Without doubt it is always invited
knowing u r inside made my heart melted
Because I know that you gonna be my little sweetheart

Though
Allah loves u more
And we know that nothing can be done anymore
To stop you from returning to our Creator
But baby I want you to know
That we will always be your loyal lover

Your presence means the world to us
But it is fated that you are not meant for us
For that
We believe that heaven shall reunite us
InsyaAllah

You are always in our thought and prayer lil one.

Your dearest mommy

Allah Maha Mengetahui

what is best for us. It's fated that our first baby is not meant to stay alive in my womb.Allah has decided to take it from us last week. it was Monday 7th Jan that I first noticed the brownish spotting but I thought it was normal for early pregnancy stage. told my husband and he said don't worry much. Everything is gonna be ok. the next day, I went for work as usual. at noon, once again I noticed the spotting. I was uncomfortable. Called the doc and she said that I should not have gone to the office. Oh man, I did not follow my instinct last night telling me that I should not go for work. But it's ok. Since it was 3pm, I guess I just waited until 4 before going back home. the spotting was on n off. my husband came back.I kept doing the research online and was relieved to read that spotting is common n etc etc. took wudhu' for Maghrib just to discover that the spotting has eventually changed to pinkish-reddish colour and I smelt blood. Ooh. Felt like fainting. Called the clinic right away and was put on q. Later, husband went out to buy dinner for me before we were called in to see the doc. I was just praying and hoping that the baby was fine inside. Though I just knew that something was not right. I let Allah to decide. We were ready for anything. I apologised to my husband but he kept telling me to stay calm as Allah knows the best. yes. Allah really knows the best. We went to the clinic, did the scan and yes, the heartbeat was nowhere to be found. (FYI, a week before 010113, we did see the heartbeat). Allah loves him/her more. I was so upset but I managed to control my emotions in front of the doc. Dr Marsita kept telling us that rezeki itu hanya Allah yang Maha Menentukan. He gave us happiness but he took it away from us in a week time.
So I was scheduled to do D&C the day after, Wednesday 9th Jan 2013. went back home. Cried my heart out. but now, I am feeling much better. I would say that we r not going to give up easily because I believe that janji Allah itu pasti. InsyaAllah. Baby Jakarta it is. Amin. Amin YRA

Baby, I love u forever. You will always be in my prayer and thought. We shall meet in heaven love.

The day I found out

It was Thursday, December 13 ,when I decided to go to Jusco to have lunch there. I was 4 days late for period but I was confident that my menses was late as I have taken antibiotics for URTI few days before the estimated day of my period. I reconfirmed with my colleague who apparently had encountered the same experience before and she said that she was late for almost a week due to the antibiotics consumption.so there goes my hope. I did not put my hope high but I just felt something unusual esp w my miss B. it was indescribable but i just remembered waking up in the morning with miss B feeling so saket and "heavy". I trusted my instinct. i went to the Guardian and bought the cheapest test kit. Went straight to the toilet and had my urine tested. read the instructions on the box and it turned out to be SO complicated that I had to pee in the case provided,n used the look-alike syringe to transfer the urine from the "box" to the test cassette and to wait for the line/s to appear. After a few failed attempts of "transferring", finally the C line( the C= control) started to appear to indicate that the test worked. patiently I waited for few moments to check if there was any sign of the second line to appear. To my surprise, i could actually see that there was a second faint line starting to appear. I was shaking i tell u. I was in disbelief. Thus, i read the instructions again and it stated that a positive line should be confirmed after 5 mins. Pheww lamanye.since it was a public toilet I felt like its not appropriate to wait that long so I made a move to Secret Recipe nearby to have lunch there. Ordered my food and drinks and later secretly peeping into my handbag to check the test cassette. Alhamdulillah. Allah has answered my prayers. I could see the TWO lines there. I snapped the pic and whatsapped it to my husband.
That is how we found out about "you" my lil miracle...
