Her first car

I am delighted to share with everyone about Nuha's first "car" after being stopped with one Indian man asking where did we get it. Proudly we said we bought it in Malaysia. Haha. Pdhl beli dkt Jakarta plus Malaysia. Yeah. The frame was bought in Jkt, the seat, the cover n cocoon were bought in KL. Had to buy separately as jkt (at that particular time) did not have the colour we wanted. After using the car aka stroller for 4months now, I am happy to say that it is indeed a great purchase. Even though the price is a bit on the higher side, it is seriously worth paying. It is very easy to maneuver, lightweight, and most importantly easy to handle, (Folding and unfolding; doesn't take much time) and of course; looks good too! Penting jgk tu kan. Hehe. Another thing is that it is compatible with maxi cosi cabriofix carrier and we did buy one as it does not only function as a carrier but also a carseat. Talking about safety, we did put our baby inside the carrier since her first few days of life during our trip back from the hospital.  As for the cocoon, it was used during our flight back fr Jkt to KL as we refused the bassinet and yup, baby slept comfortably in it throughout the entire journey. It has padded surface and suitable for newborns I would say. So yeah we r the proud owner of Bugaboo Bee + stroller 😜. Highly recommended and so far the only thing that I could comment is that it cannot hold the shopping bags. There is a space below the seat to place baby bag je la pun. But what about my shopping bagssss? Haha. If only they could do something to improve on that thing; it would be really great I tell u.

Weekenders we are

So this week marks our one month here in Sharjah. Well, if ppl were to ask me how is life, my answer would be, Alhamdulillah so far so good. We are still staying at our temporary accommodation provided by the company ; during the first three weeks it was Golden Tulip Sharjah and now we are at Ramada Hotel, Al Nahda and I gotta say I love the latter for many obvious reasons. One is because it's nearer to DH's office thus allowing him to come back for lunch break. Secondly, because it is way bigger, nicer, well-equipped and it has TV in the bedroom. ( so sesuai for lazy bum like me). And thirdly, I love its location as it is located opposite to Sahara Centre, a quite nice mall in Sharjah. Definition of nice here refers to the selection of stores they have haha. They have Zara for me; H&M, Mothercare, Crazy8, Thebabyshop, The Children's Place and Next UK for Nuha. Heheh. Byknye utk anak ye. See how the pattern has changed. You are my priority syg. No more " extensive" shopping for mommy. Hehe. Ok now I wanna share about what we did last weekend. For the first time ever, we got to spend our time in Dubai. Thanks to hubby's colleague, fellow Malaysians Amru and his wife, Nik for inviting us over to join them to Dubai. We went to visit the few most-visited places inDubai namely The Atlantis, Jumeirah beach, Medinat Jumeirah Souk and the Dubai Mall. All in all,I would say that it was an enjoyable trip and that surely deserves a repeat. Hehe. As for my baby, that marks her first beach experience as well. She got to step on the sand and of course air pantai!! Clap clap clap! At the souk, we did nothing much only snapped some photos ( as evidence that we have been there, haha). After the gentlemen finished their Jumaat prayer, we headed to the Dubai Mall and had our lunch there. We also the decided to experience the Underwater Zoo there. While queuing for the tickets,we were approached by these matsallehs offering their voucher. Although the voucher dated 29th January but we decided to have a try. Lucky us, they accepted the reason."We missed it". It was rizq after all. We got to enter the place for free yaww! That saved 90dhs each for adults. Alhamdulillah. Of course Nuha is still small to savour the moments. Mommydaddy die jela yg over. Hehehe. She was asleep most of the time. Hehe. So here goes the pictures.

A walk in the park

I always have a soft spot for parks. When we visited Perth we had the chance to visit King's Park and I must say that I love it to bits; so serene and breathtakingly beautiful. I always have the imagination of bringing my children strolling  or me goes jogging at the park etc etc. but of course kt KL the weather does not permit la kan nk feeling2 mcmtu. And guess what Allah has an undeniably superb plan for me- to experience and enjoy those parks. Here in UAE, they love to do activities like picnic-ing, cycling, and lepak-ing at the park both in the morning and evening. And since summer is approaching I guess everybody is taking the last bits and pieces to enjoy the nice weather before welcoming the scorching hot weather soon. I've been to Al Majaz park thrice during our 3-week-stay at Golden Tulip Sharjah. The park is wonderful as it is nearby to Al Majaz Waterfront which offers beautiful dancing fountain shows at night and most importantly it has nice cafés nearby for coffee session! Hehe. Bonus point there. Can always drop by athe cafe after da penat stroll kan.hehe. Typical me and my hubby's activity. I can't wait to explore more parks here in UAE with DH and si kecik Nuha.
